Description
The JEM-100CXII is a 100kV transmission electron microscope with a tungsten electron source. Because of its ease of operation this instrument is mainly used for teaching purposes, it is also used to check specimens before they are placed in the JEM-2010F or JEM-3010. The holder for this instrument is capable of taking two 3mm specimens.
It was delivered in 1986 to Civil and Materials Engineering and was transferred to the RRC when the RRC-E facility opened in 1998.
