Description
The Agilent 1946A LC-MSD single quadrupole LC-mass spectrometer is equipped with electrospray ionization (ESI) and atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI) sources.
The LC system is an Agilent 1100 HPLC with refrigerated autoinjector and photodiode array detector for LC-UV-MS. This instrument is ideal for quantitative analysis and for profiling the constituents of complex mixtures.
The Agilent 1946A LC-MSD was acquired in 1998 on a grant from Agilent to Dr. Richard B. van Breemen.
Technical Specifications
Mass range is m/z 80 to m/z 2200 with unit mass resolution. Sensitivity is 10 ug reserpine in Selective Ion Monitoring (SIM) and 50 ug in scan mode.
