Flow Cytometry Service Data Archiving

Listmode (or raw data) and ELITE histogram files are generally saved to the hard drive of the instrument's computer, but periodically, the files will have to be removed to free up space for new data.

At this time, free of charge, FCS personnel will compress and transfer the list mode and ELITE histogram files to the RRC's MyData Server for registered RRC users.

Unfortunately, except for the LSR and FACSCalibur, we can no longer allow the use of user-supplied removable media due to the high risk of infection from malware (i.e. viruses, worms, trojans, etc.).

On the LSR and FACSCalibur, users may transfer listmode and document files directly to supported removable media (e.g. flash drives, hard drives, etc.).
