The JEM-100CXII is a 100kV transmission electron microscope with a tungsten electron source. It has a magnification range from 500x to 300,000x and a lattice resolution of 0.2nm (point resolution 0.45nm). This instrument is mainly used for teaching purposes. Because of its ease of operation, it is also used to check specimens before they are placed in the JEM-2010F or JEM-3010. It was delivered in 1986 to Civil and Materials Engineering and was transferred to the RRC in 1998.
