The Imaging Station is available for image processing and analysis.

 A variety of software packages are available including:

Software PackagePurpose
Adobe Photoshop bitmap image editing and processing
Corel Draw/PhotoPaint bitmap/vector image editing and processing
Scion Image PC (MS Windows version of NIH Image) bitmap image analysis
UTHSCSA Image Tool bitmap image analysis
Zeiss LSM 510 Software for processing data collected from the LSM 510 Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope.

For hardcopy output, a color dye-sublimation printer, color laser printer and B/W laser printer is readily available.

Most of the instruments within the RRC facilities store their images in a digital format (e.g. TIFF image file). A flatbed/transparency scanner is available for digitizing print media such as X-Rays, film positives, transparencies, photos and publications.
